Description
Due to the nature of wood, there maybe a natural variation of weight and colour. We make our clubs in batches and match pairs according to proximity of weight first and aesthetics second. Variations above/below the target weight will happen though we aim for as close as possible. These clubs are sourced from solid walnut logs and as such, carry a risk of small cracks appearing. These are considered cosmetic and can be easily fixed using carpenters wood glue. Should your clubs display excessive splitting, then please let us know if this happens and we can work out a solution. Follow this link to see how easy cracks are to fix.

I have two BMF pairs, one 2×4 kg and one 2×7.5 kg. The meels I have received are great – really well-matched weights essentially stable over time, and they are beautiful pieces of kit. Particularly the heavier pair, made from thicker pieces of wood, is incredibly nice. Before I found BMF, I have also explored the option to produce own meels with a local craftsman, and I can say that BMF’s prices are very competitive. Thanks Pete!
